Alinity was featured in a suit against Twitch. Erik Estavillo is a California Twitch member who filed a lawsuit against Twitch and sought damages up to $25 million. The user claimed the site exposed him sexually explicit content by female streamers. Based on court documents obtained from Dexerto the plaintiff who had previously filed suit against Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo and Blizzard Entertainment, filed his formal complaint in court on June 15 to seek a lawsuit. Twitch itself was served with an official summons on the 19th of June. Estavillo was, in accordance with the Santa Clara Superior Court of California complaint filed, suffers from a number of medical conditions that force him to depend solely on the Internet for his entertainment. He also has obsessive-compulsive disorder as well as an addiction to sexual activity. Based on the lawsuit, Twitch makes these issues even more difficult. It then listed several female Twitch streamers who claim that they "continue in exposing viewers to sexually addictive content and regularly on a daily and regular basis." Alinity is not included. In the request for relief, the group wants to permanently ban all streamers that have broken the Twitch TOS. $25 million in compensation is requested, "to be divided between the plaintiff and all other Twitch main Turbo Subscribers" and the rest going to charities.
