Lars joined the military after his school years. He was a part of nine months of basic military service in the Kongelige Livgarde, an infantry regiment of the Danish army. After the completion of his military service Lars decided that this wasn't the way he wanted to go and started searching for something new. He then chose to pursue a degree in biology. Anette returned from a juggler course and showed Lars just how much she could do in just three days, despite the fact that he was already busy for a half-year. Lars was impressed and was determined to try it as well. So, he dropped out college and went to the juggler's school. He learned fire breathing and the art of juggling in this school. After finishing high school, he traveled around Europe with two other friends which was where he performed on the streets of Paris, Munich, Moscow, Warsaw, and other cities. He was introduced to a kids' circus two years later. In the circus, he also learned pantomime for children and street theater.
