Vinita Nair

Nair joined the station on July 4, 2004 and was a reporter across a variety of topics, including investigation into the Jon Benet Ramsey murder investigation and school shootings in Bailey, Colorado. Nair began working for ABC News as an anchor/correspondent for ABC News Now in December 2007. As part of her role as a reporter, she provided live reporting and briefings to ABC's channel. Nair was co-anchor on World News Now and America This Morning on ABC from September 17th, 2008 until February 18, 2011. In both of the shows Nair was initially paired alongside Jeremy Hubbard then later Rob Nelson. Nair informed the audience on World News Now that she will not appear on World News Now after Friday 18th February. She announced that her last day at ABC News would be Friday the 18th of February. Peggy Bunker, a former anchor on KDVR Denver, was her direct successor. World News Now, February 18 included three tributes to Nair. The former and present colleagues were featured in the segments.
